I am a toy collector but I collect a specific character. He is Cyclops of the X-Men.
Many really doesn’t know Cyclops. He’s not a very popular superhero. When you mention X-Men, most people would remember Wolverine. But if you are a fan of Marvel comics or the X-Men, you surely know Cyclops.
Who is Cyclops?
For those who doesn’t know him, let me give you a brief description. (description courtesy of wikipedia)
Cyclops is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men.
Cyclops is a member of a subspecies of humans known as mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities. Cyclops can emit powerful beams of energy from his eyes. He cannot control the beams without the aid of special eyewear which he must wear at all times. He is typically considered the first of the X-Men, a team of mutant heroes who fight for peace and equality between mutants and humans, and one of the team’s primary leaders

Why Collect Cyclops?
I like his character. His character amuses me. He has a long range attack and leads one of the most famous comic superhero team of all-time, the X-Men. I also watch cartoon/animations of the x-men that made me more of a fan when I was young. When I bought my first toy, I decided to look for more.
When did I start collecting?
I don’t remember the exact date. But I started 2009. I bought my first 3 cyclops toys I found in Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

As of now, this is my collection. I’m looking forward for more and I’m trying to look at bargain stores for 2nd hand ones. There are many figures that are way too expensive for me. Sad to say, I cannot afford it as of now haha.
